Occupational Therapy
What is a Functional Capacity Assessment?
A Functional Capacity Assessment (FCA) is a detailed evaluation of a person’s ability to perform daily activities at home, work, school, and in the community.
Conducted by our friendly and qualified Occupational Therapists, it assesses areas such as communication, mobility, self-care, social interaction, and cognitive skills.
The FCA helps identify strengths and challenges to determine the level and type of support needed.
In relation to NDIS funding, it provides evidence-based recommendations that justify and guide the allocation of appropriate supports, ensuring funding is tailored to the individual’s goals and functional needs for greater independence.
For Non-NDIS Assessments we can offer a payment plan with a 50% deposit and the rest in weekly installments.
